Paul Guarino Music

Paul Guarino is a composer and pianist specializing in emotionally resonant, piano-driven instrumentals. His compositions blend contemporary smooth jazz, lo-fi, light classical, ambient, and modern instrumental styles, creating mix-ready tracks well suited for film, television, and streaming media.

Born and raised in New York City, Paul began studying music at age seven in the Bronx. A former bandleader with a music degree from the City University of New York, he developed a strong foundation in performance, composition, and arranging. Even as a student, he often found himself slipping away to the piano room whenever inspiration struck.

Now based in the Boston area, Paul composes from his private recording studio and acoustic grand piano. His music emphasizes expressive melodies, emotional clarity, and cinematic atmosphere.

Paul draws inspiration from the beauty of nature, the full range of human emotion - from joy to reflection - and the connections found in relationships and everyday life.

Outside the studio, he enjoys traveling, spending time with family, attending live music and theater, and supporting music education for children as well as environmental conservation.
